Great Honeymoon
Vacations For Two!
It seems that more and more people go on honeymoon
vacations. Actually more people travel nowadays then
twenty years ago. You can fly almost anywhere or go on a cruise
around the globe. But one thing remains, people get married and
love to go on honeymoon vacations. What a lovely prospect,
spending the rest of your life with the love of your life.
Following your wedding will be your honeymoon, that most romantic
vacation of your life. Honeymoon vacations are indeed
special and not surprisingly, require more planning than your run
of the mill vacation. After all, this is a once only happening,
with your beloved at your side.
Unlike a family vacation or trip abroad with your roomie, you'll
probably want to spend every minute with your spouse, doing only
what the two of you please. Honeymoon vacations
are all about you two.
The two of you can spend many a happy hour planning, but to make
that honeymoon vacation plan come off without a hitch, you need a
starting point. Reality does have its place! First, you'll need to
determine your budget. Both budget and length of your honeymoon
vacation will figure prominently in determining your
destination.
If you have just a week, you may not want to spend two days,
plus jet lag recovery, getting to the other side of the world.
Honeymoonvacations are supposed to afford you two time with each
other, not 25% spent in crowded airports!
You can start by browsing the internet if you need ideas. Visit
your local travel agent before you make your final decision. Travel
agents have hundreds of brochures and booklets to acquaint you with
the charms and sights of places the world over.
Honeymoon
Vacations Facts
Keep an open mind. Grab a brochure on every place that catches
your fancy. Island and beach destinations are popular honeymoon
vacations, with good reason. Warm breezes, white sand beaches and
palm trees are romantic, relaxing and private, given the right
location. Then again, Ireland is a gorgeous green land with misty
moors and castles. Paris is busy, exciting, sophisticated and
steeped in history. The City of Lights is one of the most romantic
places in the world.
If your budget and desired destination don't seem mutually
realistic, check to see what accommodations are available besides
hotels. Hotels offer amenities you may not want to do without, like
24-hour room service, private spas and the like. On the other hand,
you can rent a fully furnished apartment or house for a week or a
month, making your dream destination possible.
Once you've agreed on your destination, find out all you can
about that locality. A good guidebook provides much of the
logistical information – where and how to rent bicycles, famous and
off the beaten path sights, secluded and romantic places to spend a
day – all the ins and outs of living like a local. If it suits your
style, planning every step of honeymoonvacations is possible. For
people who enjoy doing the research, much money can be saved this
way.
If you're not so inclined or simply don't have the time, travel
agents are expert trip planners, some even specializing in
honeymoon vacations. They can find that perfect
hotel and package with a variety of options so attractive, you'll
have difficulty deciding between them. Just use your common sense
and you will find that perfect blend you are looking for your
honeymoon vacations.
